PAMELA BUFFETT MAKES NEW GIFT TO SUPPORT DR. ANDREW GOLDBERG AND THE SINUS CENTER
Long-time UCSF supporter Pamela Buffett made a gift to our Department
this fall renewing their major support for the research and clinical work of Dr.
Andrew Goldberg, director of the UCSF Sinus Center. Dr. Goldberg's research
on biofilms and other infectious agents in the sinus seeks to identify potential
treatment solutions for patients with chronic sinusitis and other debilitating chronic
sinus conditions. Professor and Chairman Dave Eisele thanked Pamela by saying,
"The partnership of this
generous donor with our productive faculty like Dr. Goldberg accelerates our Department's
ability to translate research findings into our clinical practice. I am grateful
to Pamela for her continued support of our efforts."
